Builds Tier List

A “build” in Football Legends is not a talent tree. It is a job plus an ability plus a teammate who knows the hike. This page ranks the stacks that keep winning Park and the 7v7 groups that do not collapse on first down. If you are still under 30 OVR, you do not have a build yet. You have a getting started plan.

Role ranks live on the tier list hub. Ability ranks live on abilities.

S — Pump Fake QB + dive WR

One hikes. One gets open. The QB has 30 OVR and uses Pump Fake when the rusher jumps. The WR can jump and dive, with Autocatch optional. This is the streak engine. It is how creator videos “take over Park” without a full seven.

Assign it: you and one friend. Decide the hike before the first play. Do not both walk to QB. Read quarterback and receiver.

Fail state: QB throws 50/50s on first down. WR stands still. Either one starts shopping mid-game.

A — Catch duo (two WRs, whoever can throw)

If your friend is not a QB, both of you become receivers who can also hike in an emergency. Throwing Preview on. Short throws. First downs. You will lose to a true QB–WR S stack and you will beat almost every random court that never picked a job.

Assign it: solo queue plus one reliable catcher. Or two solo players who met in lobby and stayed.

A — Hitstick rusher + anyone who can catch

At 50 OVR the rusher becomes the third wheel that wins games the S stack thought they already had. You do not need three people if the rusher actually arrives. You do need the offense to still exist; four rushers is a meme, not a build.

Assign it: defense main plus a QB–WR pair, or a duo where the worse thrower rushes.

B — Truck closer

At 70 OVR a runner who already catches becomes a closer. This is a module you add to S or A, not a solo build. Truck without a thrower is just a person bowling into three defenders on first down.

Use it in 7v7 more than in messy Park, unless your QB loves dump-offs.

B — 7v7 mini-team (QB, two WR, rusher, blocker)

Five people who already know 7v7 will look like a real football play. This is A or S when the group is on voice. It is B when half of them wanted QB. Clans from Season 5 exist to make this group persist.

C — Cosmetic stack

Everyone has a summer trail from codes and nobody hikes. Looks good in the lobby HUD. Dies on first down. Equip the skins, then pick a job from the list above.

C — All-QB lobby

Four people waiting for the ball. Zero routes. If you see this, leave the court. Park is optional. Your streak is not worth teaching four QBs a lesson.

How to spec as your OVR rises

Under 30: Receiver or rusher. Autocatch on. No build name required. Play Park.

30–49: If you hike, you are the Pump Fake QB in an S or A stack. If you do not hike, stay WR. Do not invent a Truck identity you cannot unlock.

50–69: Add Hitstick to the trio. The rusher is now a real assignment, not a hobby.

70+: Add Truck to whoever already catches. Do not make the 70 OVR player the new QB unless they can already throw.

Prestige titles and 99 OVR cards do not change this order. They just make the lobby look scarier. A 99 who cannot hit a WR is still a C-tier teammate. See OVR progression.

Loadout notes that are not abilities

Readable skin and trail help your QB find you. Codes paid for that. Gamepasses and mythic bundles do not create an S build. Private-server commands do not create chemistry. Scripts that auto-catch or pull the ball create bans. Stay on scripts for the warning, not for a “build.”

Controller players should still treat jump and dive as the WR kit. Keyboard players should still follow on-screen prompts. Builds fail more often from ego than from binds. Read controls if the stack keeps dropping easy balls.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Park, 7v7, codes, and OVR.

What is the best two-player build?

Pump Fake QB plus a WR who can jump and dive. Decide who hikes before the first Park game.

Do I need 99 OVR for an S build?

No. 30 OVR and a friend who catches is enough to start. 50 adds a rusher. 70 adds a closer.

Can I solo-queue an S build?

You can solo-queue as a WR (A tier). S requires a locked thrower. Fill as receiver until you find one.

Are mythic skins a build?

No. Skins are readable cosmetics. Builds are jobs plus 30 / 50 / 70 abilities.
