Football Legends OVR and Prestige

How overall rating gates abilities, and why codes will not skip 30, 50, or 70.

OVR Progression

OVR is the number on your Park lobby card and the gate on the only three abilities that change how Football Legends feels. Cosmetics make you loud. OVR makes you able to pump fake, hitstick, and truck. This page is the ladder, the prestige layer, and the mistakes that keep people stuck buying cases instead of playing.

If you do not know the modes yet, read getting started and Park. If you only want the ability ranking, use the ability tier list.

The three unlocks

Community documentation for the rebuilt Football Legends (the InfinityLegends version that replaced Infinity Football) lists three ability thresholds:

OVRAbilityWhat it is for
30Pump FakeQuarterbacks selling a throw so a rusher leaves his feet
50HitstickDefense blowing up a catch or a runner
70TruckBall carriers running through contact

Those three numbers are the backbone of this wiki. They are not cosmetic. They are not code rewards. SEASON5 will not grant Truck. A summer skin case will not grant Pump Fake. Play.

Pump Fake (30). The first one you should care about. Before 30, a rusher who jumps at you is your problem. After 30, it can be his. QB mains should treat 30 as the real start of the position. Details and matchups live on abilities and quarterback.

Hitstick (50). Defense becomes a highlight job. You can still sack and break up throws before 50. After 50, collisions start to look like the clips people upload. Rushers and safeties should not respec their whole identity around Hitstick, but they should not ignore 50 either. See defense.

Truck (70). Runners stop bouncing off every dive. Truck is the “I am finishing this” button. It does not replace catching. It replaces the sad animation where a 40 OVR WR looks at a 90 OVR rusher and sits down. See builds for how stacks pair Truck with a QB who can actually throw.

How OVR shows up in the lobby

Park HUD cards print OVR next to names, records, and cosmetics. A court with 89 and 45 in the same pile is mixed. You can still catch as the 45. You cannot Hitstick as the 45. Do not queue into a 7v7 as if the number were hidden. Everyone can see it.

Creator thumbnails slap OVR 99 on everything. 99 is the flex end of the scale, not a second tutorial. Getting there is playtime. There is no honest code for it. Anyone selling an OVR menu is in scripts territory and a ban conversation.

Prestige titles

The rebuilt game added prestige titles on top of the OVR ladder. Think of prestige as a visible career stamp, not a fourth ability. It does not replace 30 / 50 / 70. It tells a lobby you have been here. Exact title names rotate with seasons; chase the ability gates first and let prestige happen as a side effect of not quitting.

Season 5’s clan layer sits beside prestige, not on top of it. A clan tag will not pump fake for you. Read Season 5 for the social systems, then come back here for the number that actually unlocks buttons.

What does not raise OVR

  • Codes — coins and cases only.
  • Gamepasses and mythic bundles — cosmetics and convenience, not the 30 / 50 / 70 gates.
  • Trails, emotes, visors, park helmets — drip.
  • Watching a 99 OVR duo on YouTube — entertainment.

What does raise OVR is playing Park and 7v7. If you need a loop: claim codes, Autocatch on, Park as receiver, check the card after a handful of games, repeat until 30. Then decide whether you are a QB who needed Pump Fake or a rusher who is walking toward Hitstick.

A practical OVR week

Days 1–2: Get to 30. Stay in Park. Do not 7v7 as a 12 OVR QB.

Days 3–4: Live with Pump Fake. If you hike, use it. If you do not hike, help a friend who just unlocked it.

Days 5–7: Push 50 if you like defense. If you hate defense, keep catching and let Hitstick wait. Truck at 70 is a longer grind; treat it as a month goal unless you already play every night.

Use the tools checklist to track 30 / 50 / 70 as boxes, not vibes. When a new season resets cosmetics, it does not reset the fact that Truck is still 70 unless a patch note on the updates hub says otherwise. We have not seen a patch that moved those three gates. If one does, this page will move with it.

Ability tier list ranks the three unlocks. Builds spends them. Players assigns them to jobs. 7v7 is where a 70 OVR Truck is loudest. Codes remain a parallel track: claim them, then forget them until the next like goal.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Park, 7v7, codes, and OVR.

What OVR is Pump Fake?

30. It is the first ability gate and the real start of quarterback play. Codes cannot skip it.

When do Hitstick and Truck unlock?

Hitstick at 50 OVR, Truck at 70 OVR. Play Park and 7v7. Cosmetics do not count.

Does prestige replace OVR?

No. Prestige titles are a career stamp. Abilities still follow 30 / 50 / 70.

Can a script set my OVR to 99?

Anything that writes stats is a ban risk. This wiki will not help you fake OVR. Play, or accept the number on your Park card.
