Getting Started in Football Legends
From a fresh Roblox account to a usable Park player without wasting the first hour.
Football Legends is InfinityLegends’ American football experience on Roblox. You load into a 14-player server, pick Park or 7v7, and play short games that reward catching, throwing, and not panicking on first down. This page is the first-hour route. It assumes you have never opened Settings and you do not yet have Pump Fake.
If you already know the hike, skip to Park or OVR progression. If you only wanted free cosmetics, use the codes hub and come back.
Minute zero: the two gates
Like Football Legends on the Roblox page and join InfinityLegends. Codes check both. Then press Play. Wait until you see a lobby, not a loading cube.
Open the gear in the top left. Turn Autocatch on. Turn Throwing Preview on if there is any chance you will touch quarterback. FPS and Ping meters can stay off until you are debugging lag. The controls page explains why Autocatch is not a crutch; it is the default until your click timing exists.
Open CODES and paste the working list. Claim VISORS, PRO, PARKHELMETS, CATCH, and the coin codes in one pass. Equip a skin and a trail so teammates can see you. Then close the shop. Cosmetics do not play the game for you.
Pick Park, not 7v7
Park is pickup football. You form small sides, play to a short score target (creators treat Park as first to 21, four touchdowns), and chain streaks. Global leaderboards exist for quarterback, receiver, and other jobs. A badge can sit next to your name if you rank. None of that matters in hour one.
What matters in hour one:
- You can see the ball.
- You can catch a ball that is thrown at you.
- You do not stand in the rusher’s lane when you are supposed to be a receiver.
- You hike when it is your ball, not when it is theirs.
Stay on receiver or a simple rusher. Do not main quarterback on a new account unless your friends need a body in the backfield. QB with Throwing Preview still requires timing. Dropped dots tilt Park faster than a missed tackle.
Read Park after two games so the first-down rules make sense. Read receiver if that is the job you liked. Read defense if you would rather hit people than run routes.
The first five games
Game 1–2: Autocatch on. Follow a throw with the camera. Jump if the ball is high. Dive if it is dying in front of you. Creator tutorials hammer jump (A on controller) and dive (X) as the two buttons that separate a catch from a highlight reel for the other team.
Game 3: Try one rush. Your job is to bother the QB without leaving a receiver wide. Hitstick is not unlocked yet. You are just a body with a dive.
Game 4: If someone asks you to QB, use Throwing Preview. The red mark is where the ball wants to land. Throw to a receiver who is already moving, not to a statue. If the first two throws die, hand the job back.
Game 5: Notice OVR on the Park HUD. Those cards under the lobby are the same system that will later show 30 / 50 / 70 unlocks. You are not 99. You will not be 99 tonight. Play anyway.
If the lobby is full of people with Truck and mythic trails, you will lose. That is fine. Park is a teaching playlist disguised as a flex playlist. The tier list can wait until you know whether you even like QB.
What to chase this week
- 30 OVR — Pump Fake. First ability that changes how a QB sells a throw. Details on abilities and OVR.
- A readable skin. Codes already paid for a summer case. Equip it.
- Catch timing with Autocatch off for one game. When you can catch a ball you can see without the toggle, you are ready to think about 7v7.
- One role. Quarterback, receiver, or defense. The players hub exists so you stop random-queuing as “anyone.”
Do not buy a 3399 Robux bundle on day one. Do not install a script to auto-catch. Do not rage at first downs; Park uses them, and Juicy John’s launch video already called first-and-15 real.
Common first-hour deaths
Wrong game. Unlock Football Legends is a different Roblox title. Soccer arcade “Football Legends 2026” is a different sport. This wiki is place 90913221847091 only.
Codes failed. You skipped the group. Fix it with how to redeem.
No one throws to you. You are standing still. Receivers have to move. Wave / ask-for-ball exists in this family of games; if you see a call button, use it. If you do not, run a route anyway.
You hiked into a sack. Wait for a receiver to break. Pump Fake is not yours yet. A late throw is better than a free rusher highlight.
You jumped into 7v7. Come back after Park. 7v7 has more people who will notice you dropped the third-down ball.
After the first hour
Open the tools checklist and tick what you already did. Then play Park until 30 OVR. When Pump Fake unlocks, reread quarterback. When you want a second playlist, use 7v7. When a new like goal pops in Settings, return to codes.
Football Legends rewards people who treat it like football, not like a simulator that plays itself. The first hour is settings, codes, and catches. Everything after that is the guides hub.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Park, 7v7, codes, and OVR.
Should I play quarterback first?
Usually no. Start on receiver or rusher with Autocatch on. QB is easier after Throwing Preview makes sense and Pump Fake unlocks at 30 OVR.
How long until Pump Fake?
It unlocks at 30 OVR. Play Park. Codes will not skip the gate. The OVR guide explains 50 and 70 as well.
Is Autocatch allowed?
Yes. It is an official Settings toggle recommended for new players. Turn it off later if you want more control over jump and dive timing.
Do I need friends?
No for Park pickups. Friends help for 7v7 and for a locked QB–WR duo, but you can learn the sport solo in Park.
